Sure, I know a lot of people in the GovCon world that do that and more.

Absolutely I'm an IT recruiter
i know a good number of 6 figures cats in IT, myself included but i dont think i know anybody who makes 150K or over in IT..thats like director level type of salaries
All I know is, in two years, imma need yall to put references down for me so I can hit 80k.
Don't act brand new when I start asking.Again people not being specific, the avg IT worker doesn't stay at the same company/same job more than 3 years or 5 years at best. It's not like you gonna make 100k for 10 years straight

where do they live?everyone where i work makes over 100. shyt is nothin in sf![]()
so can only make 100K or more if you do contracts?Main reason tech workers constantly jump is that it's the quickest way to get a raise. If you stick with the same company, you'll maybe get a 5,000 an raise in a year, but the right jump can boost your income by 20,000 to 30,000. A lot of these companies also don't offer employee status... just contract status. That's the one thing about programming. Be careful about becoming a programmer because this can be a very unstable field. A lot of these jobs can pay a lot, true, but a lot of these are contracting jobs and you can be fired for any reason in a state like Texas. If you are highly skilled, you can make money hand over fist, so before jumping in, make sure this is something you like.

you can literally look up jobs by cert... just enter in CCIE Routing and Switching cert into glassdoor. look at the jobs being offered for that. i promise you, you'll see at least 5-10 starting at over 100k.. and they aren't all contractingso can only make 100K or more if you do contracts?![]()
