me personally i perfer originality not remake or hearing verses over other instrumentals where they was already a verse on that instrumental already.

It depends, for example Jimi Hendrix version of "All along the watchtower" is far superior than the original version by Bob Dylan. I'd also say that J. Dilla's version of "Think Twice" is better than the original by Donald Byrd. This all my opinion though breh
