damned if I know I basically put it down to something like homosexuality, it's existed since way back when but the media are usually johnny come lately. For them to have started that discussion way back in the 70s just surprised me 
that shyt was never more evident than the bit where the cop and Gary coleman's fake dad storm the house frantically looking for the boy then when they open the bathroom door we hear laughter. Only to see a topless child walk out, as a viewer your first thought is he's been abused so the fact they had laughter when the toilet flushed was misplaced to say the leastI just watched it. Had never seen it.
I think the one choice they should of done different is not having the laugh track for that episode. I think its a good episode for getting something like that out in the open, but that forced laugh track throughout the episide is tacky as hell.
Still glad they tried to address an important issue though.

its funny cause I'm watching it knowing something was written on the locker but since I hadnt seen it in so long, I couldn't remember exactly what it was. I'm thinking, nah they wouldn't put ****** on there, this was a tgif joint..then they closed that door and im likethe writing on the locker was excessive.
