If you think $400-500 a month is worth having to take care of a kid 24/7 you're an idiot. That's about $0.60/hr for a hard ass job. Not to mention diapers, day care, doctor visits, formula.... I never understood why dudes complained about child support.... if you don't want a kid, child support is the bargain of the century, unless you're broke, in which case you shouldn't be nutting raw in anything but your hand

That doesn't go to the child's upkeep, it goes to the mother to spend on dumb shyt...phones, clothes, etc.

How is seeking government help for child support from what you described as deadbeat fathers the same as seeking government help to have a paternity test done on a child? You do know you don't require the mother's permission to take the kid to a DNA diagnostics center to get paternity tested? And if you're questioning the paternity in the first place then you can wait to sign the birth certificate at a later date.

There’s some European countries which NEED approval from the mother & will fine or imprison fathers who fail to procure consent. IMO rather than mandate the individuals the government should instead ensure Hospitals ALWAYS present the option to couples to have newborns tested. Exception to the rule being child support claimants who’ll have mandatory test of the child against whomever they want as claim against.
