Kinda agree with whoever said the new generation raps better. When you listen to Rakim it might be technical but I have yet to hear bars from the 80s or early early 90s that made me go oh shyt.. other than biggie and the likes. Not to mention these beats nowadays are 10 times more intricate than boom bap. I feel like its easier to ride a boom bap than to spit on a metro booming but might just be me.
