I think it is already having an effect in real life but I am unsure if it will spill over into outright violence. One of the things about the modern far right is that they see themselves as being on a moral crusade so I think they are more likely you to provoke with words to get a reaction so they can say "look at how violent, chaotic" etc That is why they are also trying to make race science mainstream.

Also that whole thing of younger generations being more and more progressive is dead. Gen Z are the most racists, nihilistic generation for a minute. I think a big part of all of this is people see no hope for the future, don't have a clear identity and no sense of purpose.

The most dangerous thing is the other non whites who are willing to spew racists shyt towards Black people to get a pat on the back from the white supremacists. Even with all the ICE shyt Latinos are still on that Asians killing affirmative action not realizing it harms them too.

Charlottesville and January 6th are events directly related to Twitter. It was used to spread misinformation, make plans, and create groups that committed violent acts
