When you can identify the woman that stroked Truman's dikk to the point that he agreed to see the Manhattan Project all the way through to putting an exclamation point on the end of the sentence that was the Pacific Theater, I'll agree with you about this notion that "Woman have a lot of power though their influence on men, and they have throughout the course of history."

I don't think we've had a true matriarchal society ruled by women as conquerors. We've had matriarchal tribes, villages, maybe countries and cultures.
No one has "Ruled the World". Maybe Alex the Great or the Mongols ruled the known world at the time. But can't recall a woman holding down the Iron Throne and ruling all 7 Kingdoms like that..
