Do we all agree that lebron james is still the best player in the world?

the thing is lebron paces himself during the regular season, which gives people the illusion that other players are better, because their stats jump off the page more, which is why they get MVP, but then lebron cranks it up to another gear in the playoffs, and shows just how much better he is than everybody else.

This series made it so blatantly obvious that it seemed scripted by a Bron stan

Curry looked like a one dimensional shooter who you shockingly can't really even trust to run the offense (:whoa: just calling it how we all saw it; more turnovers than assists in 7 games from your point guard).

Meanwhile Bron was dominant in literally all facets of the game other than 3pt shooting. Spooky...

Curry had the best ref season even though I think the unanimous thing wasn't deserved. But Bron clearly does more and means more to his team. That being said he probably does more and means more for his team than anyone in the league but that doesn't mean he should be MVP every year.

But Bron is the best player in the world and has been for quite some time. No one is on his level.

I don't think most ppl thought Curry was a better overall player, however he simply had a "better" regular season and won the mvp.

Lebron won when it mattered most and proved any doubters (including myself) wrong.
You'd be surprised. There were ton of Curry > LeBron threads on here especially before the OKC series.

I always thought he was the best player....

Curry had an insane regular season tho....just like Durant had an insane regular season the year he won it

but here is the thing.....Lebron doesnt go balls to the wall in the regular season and you will likely never see him win an MVP again...and while it may suck for his fans he clearly paces himself for the post season because those minutes keep piling up

And he played heavy mins this postseason because they needed it....

Dude ended up having to lead his team in every major stat category...along with minutes...

What might be able to prolong his time is if Kyrie can become a serious floor general which will allow Bron to play offball even more and finding good Shane Battier/Richard Jefferson type backups for him
