Oh yeah this for the young nikkas who forgot how nasty son game was
Mind you Hot Rod was one of the best low post defenders in history![]()
He's the GOAT PF yet a top 3 big man period. Even more credit to his versatility and selflessness that he easily can play the 5 so LMA won't have to
His resume stacks up with anybody PF or C.
EnlightenmentNah I think it has more to do with him playing power forward, and being the greatest of all time at playing power forward.
Hes also got cheated on more times in that 70 years.he had as many points tonight as you will ever score in the league in your 70+ years on this earth

Duncan played the majority of his minutes with robert horry.
Was horry the C now?
Maybe I'm showing my age but this is the lineup that has stuck in my mind and why I've had him as a center in my mind. That and 6'7 Blair after.elson, rasho whoever would start the game and duncan would play "pf" i guess for 4 or 5 mins a game
the spurs closing lineup from 04-to like 09 was ALWAYS
Duncan
Horry
Bowen
Manu
Tony

When I think of a prototypical power forward I think of a big who is more athletic and fluid than centers and has more range. Duncan's bread and butter has always been the back to the basket play though he can hit mid range shots. How is his style of play in line with centers?
Wait what?

Tim Duncan
basketball reference agrees with me
