Its a survival game. Public and private servers, a bunch of players running around in it. I think anyone can kill anyone else but when i played it I really only played single player because I was just testing it out. I know if we form a tribe everyone in it shares everything. We could build a main base and then start trying to run the island. You start out with stone age shyt and eventually start building guns and electronics. Tame dinosaurs and can fight with them. It seems like it can be a fun game with a good tribe.
I havent played it since the summer and its been getting alot of updates so its probably way different now.
