you care about the innocent babies now. In the other thread when we were talking about actualy going out and helping these babies by mentoring them and showing them success, you were against it. You were even dapping up people saying "these people should just die off" But now you care about them so much and wanna force these fukked up people, who don't deserve your help to bring more fukked up babies, that don't deserve your help into society.

I think abortion is wrong on many levels as well, but people are too judgmental and concerned about what other people do with their lives. Abortion doesn't affect me, nor does gay marriage, or any of these other goofy issues. We should all be concerned with moving this country forward, not worrying about what the next man does with his life.

It's ignorant because people don't understand that voting for your own best intrests while ignoring the needs of the entire country is very shortsighted and will not benefit you in the long run.

Doesn't matter how much money you vote into your own pocket, if the rest of the country goes down, you go down with it. Plenty of people learned this in the recent financial collapse that emptied out their 401ks.

Yeah they were all for less regulation and fiscal responsibility till the shyt hit the fan, then they were applying for Medicaid and SS just like everybody else.

No the system went EXACTLY as it should. The problem happened when Bush and Obama decided to practice corporate welfare and bail out these corrupt financial institutions that were committing fraud. Instead of letting those businesses fail and allowing the free market to pick up the pieces like any other business, the GOVERNMENT decided to use tax payer money to bail out these banks. Meanwhile, the common man is screwed. The government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers.

No the bailouts were a band-aid for an economy spiraling into a depression. Many unpartisan economists have pointed out that without those bailouts the country would have fallen into a deep depression and the common man would have been worse off. Peoples businesses were going under and their 401ks were being emptied out BEFORE the bailouts. And the banks were not committing fraud, everything they did was totally legal according to very lax regulations. So people who ask for less regulation are actually asking for history to repeat itself.

Yes the bailouts benefited corporations more directly than they did the everyday citizen, but in this capitalist society we ALL need corporations to function.
