Work with cops almost daily, including a lot of brothers. Most are solid dudes just trying to keep the community safe. I even know a few female cops that are

I don’t do illegal shyt, not even smoke weed, All my plates & insurance are up to date. Never had a bad interaction with a cop

I do acknowledge the severe fundamental issues with our police & justice systems. The instances of police brutality sicken me also.

Southside of Chicago is pretty segregated. It’s more often than not, you'll find black patrol officers in those areas.

Non segregated areas are where the police brutality and injustice often happens.

I remember cops actually being part of the hood growing up and they knew who was who and who was just regular folks

but over time it changed where u got cops who lived 15 miles outside of hoods and they coming in just harassing everyone without getting to know the major players to regular people just trying to survive

This, my mom always said cops she grew up with on the southside of chi were little league coaches, barbers, parents of her friends so everyone knew them.

Cops in the neighborhood knew everybody from the stickup kids to the old ladies on they porch back then

What could you do against a coworker thats lazy, incompetent, poor attendance ? Tell your manager? I have no beef with Street level beat cops

Its the upper administration, police unions, mayors office, governors office etc where our rage should be deflected to
