You should. Their perspective carries weight, doesn't it?
I didn't want to @ them so to not drag then into something they didn't ask for. I would love to hear their perspective. In fact I'd be cool with only hearing their perspective. I've been asking black women IRL about it all week. Hell if my daughter was old enough to understand I'd ask her too. Thank you for the 1 * tho.

Fixed that.

I can agree that men as a whole aren't always looking out for women, but that's a global thing. Black women can walk down the street and either get a dude trying to get a phone number or maybe just get ignored. India??? Pakistan??? Broad is basically risking rape and death for that.

White men STAY disrespecting their women calling them fat, mudsharks, bytches etc.

Latino men :russ:. Fukk half the broads in the neighborhood but threaten to crack their wife's skull open if she so much as looks at a another dude.

Asian men? Mama's boys and so #HOH that Asian broads will marry a less attractive white dude with less education & money just to get peace of mind.

Black women have shyt they have to deal with but........so does everyone else. Can't blame white women, black men and everything in between when 80 to 90% of the wounds are self-inflicted. Bootstrap that shyt.

Well if your are saying all men oppress their women that would be true to a certain extent. But I dont know enough to say if they protect or oppress them more as a collective. For example in the case of muslims, many would deem forcing them to wear hajibs is oppressive. But you could argue thats protective clothing. And do we really think the white man doesnt protect his woman more than opress? The European has practically given up all of his power to white women, right under his nose. And you already know what will happen if you attack a white woman in this country. All the power of the white man coming down on your head. And if she was in the wrong and you managed to cancel her. The white man still going to create a go fund me,or get her a golden parachute. Basically she will be just fine.

Now the European does have a similar system set up like that for black women. The welfare system, and the law which can readily be called on black men:francis:

I think you all are looking at the fact black women have turned out okay,as some sign weve done right by them and not been oppressive. But if you take a honest look, you see most of the systems set up that have allowed black women to survive or thrive, arent our systems at all:francis:. So that isnt a sign you havent been opressive. Just means the white man is Cutty from dead presidents. And been sliding help to your woman on the low, with not so good intention.

I dont think those other cultures created an environment where its practically a competetion to see who can use,and treat women the worst.

Do Black women really want protection?

Protection is proactive. It seems like they just want us to be reactive, after something has already gone too far.

Also agree with this in present day. So its basically over, let the dead bury the dead. All you can do now is leave the country, lead by example. And the upstanding black women who remain will want to be apart of it,and the rest who can will be inspired to change as well.

For those who say that we don't protect black women, a common thread I see from them is that we always have to place ourselves in some type of peril to do it. From physical danger to career suicide, they always want black men to potentially sacrifice everything in order to "protect" them. It's a very selfish mindset to have if you ask me.

You're taking a very small percentage and using that to represent the masses.

You sound like one of those "All Black men abandon the sistas for white women when the become successful" types :mjlol:

You really think thats a "very small percentage"?I think thats wishful thinking

So you enter with your snark but offer nary an opinion. Alright then :francis:
I offered actual good advice which was "You should @ the women of this board". I can't give advice now? You said why you didn't and I'm new so I don't know who is who to do it myself. :yeshrug:Any other accusations?

Ding ding ding.... We have a winner! It's all about sacrifice. whether it be your freedom or your life. Only women should be protected is your family members. Even then it shouldn't be protection from bad decisions or poor choice.

Ok, and what I said was I didn't want to single them out. They're already on a male-dominated forum so it serves no purpose to make them uncomfortable. Not sure why you have to be a pompous a$$hole.

McDowell's
when the tears of a black woman can get a white man killed by police, then we can stop protecting black women.

A mindset that white men don’t have
