I agree. I don't find it sexist. I just think it's an over-used trope and people need to get more creative in their writing.

definitely agree about writers needing to be more creatives but it's part of the story-telling craft. I don't mind cliché tropes sometimes (I'm a sucker for some of them). I just hate when it becomes the foundation and soul of the whole story and there's nothing else.

I don't think they'd be neccisarily called simps. These are dudes who feel like a woman is needs to be saved from herself.... A lot of women get in these relationships with bad dudes, it's really common with us. So I'd like to know about men who do this. How many men have you dudes met that do this kind of shyt?

Real talk i'm kind of on some white knight shyt right now.

I talking to this girl who just recently had both parents die, and she is doing pretty bad. she is so willing to suck me off, make dinner for me, buy me stuff, get take-out for me, bring me lunch at work.

I feel obliged to help her in life. I'm not paying for anything. just holding her and letting her cry, and I kinda listen to her and try to give a fukk, which is hard. I hope that is not part of her little conniving games though.

She is only 22, and I think she sees me as her only hope. IDK what to do..
