Noticing more and more it’s always unmarried (and typically unsuccessful) men harping on women getting married. Nobody else cares yet these dudes are monitoring women nuptials like stock prices.
Repped. A thread needs to be done on this because it’s evident all throughout TLR. It’s strange asf too, some of these Brehs swear they are gmb, but if a bw is on the same thing, they get so triggered. No, women don’t “need” marriage in 2021. No women don’t “need” to make getting a man or husband their number one goal anymore.

But yes, there are still many women who “want” to be married in 2021.

I mean the point is in 2021, neither side really needs each other.

you can be a rolling stone and impregnate whoever, build unconventional families. Women can give birth without having to choose a man for permanence.

Not needing a partner was supposed help us by choosing the partner we want. Instead its made it clear that permanence isn't a determining factor.

its about who I want right now.

It's gotten to the point black people don't acknowledge and help each other in public anymore. The old folks get it but for some reason my generation and younger don't seem to understand there is unity in blackness. We'll see each other in stores and restaurants and just keep looking straight and not even acknowledge with a hello

If children are in their future the answer is yes. Statistically speaking marriage has benefits for married women and men with children

If a woman doesn’t plan on building a family (there are women who don’t mind just being the single auntie) then marriage may not really benefit women, especially college educated women

A woman’s value doesn’t depend on how she treats/rears/is able to raise other peoples children. The scenario also doesn’t benefit her lol
