True shyt. At some level beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For example, I know I like thick women, but the average white dude probably would think all the women I lust over are "fat".
Same with women. I've had some women tell me I'm beautiful and I've been curved by others because I wasn't their exact type. There are only a few people who are universally viewed as ugly on that Biz Markie, Craig Mack and Gary Busey level. But I know I'm good looking 
and could give a fukk if I'm not the exact narrow type of some random hoe on the street. I know I look good because most people tell me so and I always see pretty young thangs giving your man googly eyes and rhythm everywhere. 
Looks ain't everything though. If you creepy you creepy. I've been creepy before. Going to a bar by yourself, getting drunk and just staring at females and not talking to them is creepy. Telling a chick "I like your face" or some shyt like that right off the bat is hella creepy.
I've only been called creepy once in my whole life when I was being creepy staring too hard at this bad, bad bytch at the local bar around my way when I was hella drunk. 
But she didn't curve me and it was clear that she was feeling me because we talked for a bit, but it was clear she was looking for a simp because she told me she was looking for a "man to take care" of her financially. 
That's where she fukked up. 
Then she just told me to give her some space for a minute and she still gave me her number before she left the place. It was an ego boost, I guess because I never called that gold digging bytch. 
You see weirdo looking nikkas with bad bytches all the time, it's really not that big a factor

An associate of mine is ugly, he looks like a thumb with a smiley face drawn on it and he gets a lot of ladies. He also has a really bad stuttering issue and is very disrespectful but he gets a lot of quality looking women. I don't think women are as into looks as men are or as they may lead on.

I think the general rule of thumb is you have to be completely confident when approaching cause if its even a little awkward for you, it's a lot awkward for her. It has more to do with your vibe than anything imo

No idea. She stepped up socially in school and what communication was had between us promptly ceased. She became another one of those people who poked fun at me.
Haven't seen her in 9 or so years, don't care to, unless my money is long and I reach a place of unbridled happiness. Unless I am doing better than someone, don't

Men are more focused on looks yes, having an ugly chick is basically a sign of low self esteem for men.

For example

10/1 = 10 This man has a good chance of being able to approach women without being creepy
Ugly ass man

As you can see, there is a disparity. Now this scale fluctuates depending things like social skills and value. For instance a handsome ass nikka wit no social skills may be more creepy than an average dude with average skills or an ugly dude with great skills.
