shyt is disgusting. I can do a hood movie every now and then, but it's pretty much the same damn story. Or you have the story about a cheating spouse. I can't support that shyt anymore.

Cosby, a different world, family matters, fresh prince, even move on to the early 2000s with everyone loved chris, damian wayans show, bernie mack and a few others..

There’s that reasonable doubt show on Hulu, it’s basically a parody of black people but everyone involved in creative is black, it’s pathetic

There is a limited audience for serious and/or positive Black content, and that's just a fact.

Even "positive" is extremely subjective now. I get what they're trying to say but even using one of your examples Martin got think-pieced to hell earlier this year.

What was wrong with Martin? It was a show about a working radio DJ/talk show host who lived life in Detroit with his wife and friends. Wasn't any drugs,murders,or overly sexualized behavior.
Living single was about a group of black women navigating life. The main character owned her own magazine company. 1 was a lawyer.
Yes you can be those things without it being on tv, but people would have more interest if they saw those professions on someone who looks like them. Ur really acting like you don't know the powers of what you are shown on tv on a daily basis
A positive message doesn't have to be overly stated. Watching a show where blacks wasn't viewed in a negative view is positive.

There were a ton of black, POSITIVE MESSAGING black shows back in the day.
Now, there might be black people in positive shows, but all we get is shyt dealing with guns, crime, drugs, etc… like that’s what all black people live and know.
