Not really. Sports are about things like strength, determination, fighting, and competition while working on cars is about engineering. These are all masculine things. Watching anime requires no effort and no intelligence and no masculinity. It only requires that you have no friends.

My point is people who love those things can easily spend copious amounts of time indulging the same way the narrative is that anime watchers spend too much time doing that.

Whether you spend all day watching Naruto, rebuilding a 92 Civic or watching March Madness on Saturday and NBA doubleheaders the rest of the week, you still aren't in social situations where "getting p*ssy" is supposedly more likely.

Short answer is yes. I'm married but been a lifelong comic fan and got into anime when I was 15. Not gonna lie at first I wasn't getting p*ssy and blamed it on the comics/anime but then around junior year in high school I realized that my overall deaf was deficient.

Honest to god there's no difference between a nikka who is an anime Stan and a sports Stan who doesn't really play the games they Stan (which is a lot of them). It's all about how you carry yourself. I used to hide my comics from girls like they were porno mags but then said fukk it and wore the shyt on my sleeve did me to the Nth degree and I was good. Was I getting every chick? No. But the confident-geek energy that I was throwing out was very attractive to the types of chicks who were into it and some bad ones were.

I fukked a lot of chicks under the Spawn and Tenchi Muyo posters next to my dorm room bed and my 1st date with my wife of 11 years now was to a comic book/record shop. With that being said, A LOT of dudes into these things are socially awkward as fukk. My wife has run into some real weirdos in the comic book shop while getting me various gifts. With that being said I know some sports fans who are straight weirdos, socially inept, and get no play so the hobby one has doesn't by default determine their success with women.
