Melanin theory is a theory of Black racial superiority,[1] based on the physical properties of melanin, a natural polymer and organic semiconductor.[2]

In humans, melanin is the primary determinant of skin color. People whose ancestors lived for long periods in the regions of the globe near the equator generally have larger quantities of eumelanin in their skins. Melanin theorists assert that the possession of greater quantities of melanin gives black people inherent superiority. Conversely, its lack demonstrates the alleged inhumanity and inferiority of white people.

"The very pigment that gives Black people their skin complexion is the source of many miraculous health benefits. Melanin provides incredible protection against the negative effects of ultraviolet radiation, neutralizes harmful effects of others forms of radiation, fights off signs of aging and so much more. Perhaps even more astounding is melanin’s unique ability to absorb certain energy sources such as light and sound waves, and convert them into reusable energy"

Physically, I guess it def makes sense. Also we all know Black people tend to not be as affected by aging as White folks. I'm 34 have people telling me i'm 27, and I'm mixed. And yeah, black genes are "stronger" than white ones as evidenced by the vast majority of mixed people looking more black than white. It also SEEMS to me that Black people are also in general more resistant imo to some illnesses. But that may just come from growing up in hardship for some.

HOWEVER, we all can see that does not translate in being "superior" to anyone, just different.

No, its foolishness wrapped in a fourth grade reading-level's understanding of science. Dark skin is "superior" in hotter areas with more sunlight. It doesn't make Black people "superior" though. Maybe in 200 years we'll have a much more concrete understanding of melanin's relation (if there is any) to athletic activity, and absorption of other things beside light. For now, its a pseudoscience, nothing more, nothing less.

As others have have mentioned it's pseudo science. It's kind of like assuming that taller people are "superior" to shorter people.
