So if he is a legend without question and a first ballot rap hall of famer wouldnt that make him one of the greatest of all time like the thread title is asking?

:patrice:

There's about 25 other rappers I can think of just off the top who are also first ballot rap hall of famers who rap better than him and have a better discography, so no.

I heard it stretch and bobitto .. had it on tape .. was mad it wasn't on any album... glad they released it on the love movement bonus CD .. along with the Jazz remix

his verse on the points was nice too ... he's one of the only artists to actually have a verse representing the movie's meaning

lol i listened to stretch and bobbito religiously. i first heard 1 2 shyt on a DJ S&S tape that i copped in harlem & lost my damn mind.

and you're right about his verse on the points, busta went in

Absolutely.

- arguably the last TITAN to keep continually standing from the Styles era
- one of the few who guests on your records and makes it their song (others: Snoop, Bone, Wu-Member, Too $hort, Twista, Eightball & MJG)
- comes dope with all the greatest producers (except Premier)

The only thing anybody could say against him is "he doesn't have a classic album",
but in that sense, you could say he's ahead of his time because whole albums haven't really mattered as a thing for some time.
And he has a bunch of classic songs to where it's alright.

Let me see this 25

:patrice:

Nas

Rakim
Lupe
Eminem
LL
Common
Slick Rick
G.Rap
Mos Def
Kane
Biggie
Outkast
Ghostface
Chuck D
Black Thought
Gza
Lil Wayne
Kendrick Lamar
DMX
TI
KRS 1
Prodigy/Mobb Deep

I separated the last 5 because even though they're not lyrically better (or don't write), I'd still rank them higher on the GOAT list off impact alone
