Do yall eat leftovers or throw them out? My godmother's kids don't eat leftovers. Every day she throws out good food.

My dad likes homemade meals so I've been cooking at his house. My lil brothers tho would rather eat cereal or ramen noodles than make a plate and eat some leftovers. And since my dad doesn't like to eat the same thing over and over, I end up cooking every day or every other day. I end up being the only one eating leftovers and try not to let it go to waste.

I grew up with the waste not, want not mentality. Is this a normal thing or am I just cheap?

I prefer leftovers, my gf cooks and doesn't really like to eat the same thing two days in a row but I could literally eat the same meal for a week straight and wouldn't give a fukk.

There has to be at least one hungry/greedy person in a house to clean out the leftovers. That's what I do when I visit my moms. There's always food down there.

Her husband does eat leftovers, usually for lunch the next day. But a lot of the times when he buys food he'll leave it in the fridge and says he'll eat it later, and leaves it until it goes bad.
