My cousin and I were talking about what I need to experience that's authentic DC, so he put me on some go go music when I was visiting for Christmas, and this was the first song he told me to listen to. Brings back some good memories, and I do actually like the cover.

Glad to know I'm not the only one to do this! I just don't get tired of the beat or lyrics, and I think I hear something new to appreciate every time I listen again.

@ben anderson Thank you! I'm Texas born/raised/residing, so when he comes to see me, I might have to play this throwback for him.



But when I was up there I asked him what I needed to complete my authentic DC experience and he told me "wings with mumbo sauce and go-go, so start with this." It's dope!

I just love music, really. But the more substance to the lyrics or the better the sound, the more I feel it. Just like to vibe!
