Probably in the minority but that PS2 start up sound was my favorite of the bunch...
Dreamcast. Came out the box crushing the building on every angle. Introduced 2K sports and was the last time I felt games were next gen from the last.
Of course PS2 was better.

Back when even AAA developers took risks and had a diverse line up of games.
The B level mid tier games you'd see in the bargin bin were piff too, there were some low key classics.

my original died on me at the top of 2013. got it fixed liked 3 times that year but it kept dying. said fukk it and bought a refurbished one from gamestop a few months back with a 2 year warranty. i had the 20 gig originally but this 80 gig
that chrome trim and those sd slots. ps2 games ran better on my 20 gig though.
