Still have my PS2, I still ocassionally use it to play PS1 and PS2 exclusive games. I don't like how PS3 and PS4 games often require patches and needed internet connection to get the full experience, I don't play online games and since most of my games is pirated version I can't use PlayStation Store to get patches and DLC.

Ps2 era didn't have mass effect, fallout 3, skyrim, portal, gears of war, COD4/MW2, Xbox live, MK9, Bioshock 1, Fallout NV, dark souls, farcry 3....so no I don't think about that era at all.
