Do y'all now realize that becoming majorities in states and controlling state governments is the ONLY way forward for Black people in this country?

There's a guy who proposed all Black people move back to the south. Folks not hearing that shyt but political power is important
Where climate change is gonna hit the most? fukk that.

Black empowerment needs to face realities and one of them is taking states with shyt infrastructure and not expecting the government to summarily wipe its hands of it is stupid. Let a Katrina hit again and Trump-like bytches make the victims the enemy.

:dahell:Controlling your local races since turnout is universally low in America. There are cities and counties black people can have if 1k people show up to the polls.

Some Mississippi, most Chicago area. Nobody misses Mississippi, especially my grandma who’s grandmother and father were sharecroppers.

How does what you're suggesting gel with all the 'No Tangibles, No Vote' rhetoric? What exactly are you talking about that people should finally see?

I agree we need better Black turnout. But the bottom line is we need to come together geographically as well.

Ehh. Florida for sure. Georgia, Alabama, and most of Carolinas will be fine

They won't be under water, but they will be dealing with decreasing fresh water and greater levels of ozone.

I'm good on the south. I am staying in the Midwest.

I agree, climate change is a serious issue.

If we don't come together geographically we need to fight to take over certain sectors.

Like how the Indians own all of the motels or how our ancestors controlled the pullman porters.

Even greater reason to mobilize politically. Climate change can be mitigated with proper infrastructure choices, increasing green space etc. no place will be untouched. Especially the mid west unless you talking certain parts of Illinois and Michigan. Which will flood more often
