Do yall realize what Draymond Green has done to GS since their championship vs Celtics?

He lacks any sort of composure as a leader. He’s a brilliant player and hustles his ass off but he’s a whiny bytch who exploits the inconsistency of how physicality is officiated in the NBA.

For whatever psycho reason he takes it personal whenever opposing players touch him but he’s allowed to be flagrantly physical (and violent) all day.

I'd agree that he has an argument as greatest defender of his era. Its only an argument, though. He ain't locked in, and I certainly don't think the peak version of him is the greatest defensive peak I've seen...

He's on the short list of great defenders of his era though and that carries enough weight...

I think Dray's peak/prime was 2013-14 thru 2017-18. This is the era he won his DPOY and was when he was also at his best offensively. He was a game-wrecker on defense, and could have moments on offense (like the '16 Finals). That's not the best defensive player I've seen though, so like with everything else, he tends to get slightly overrated by some...

Shout out to a great HOF career but its hard to envision him having a HOF career anywhere besides where he wound up at...

That peak was MSU Dray right there, he did his thing, would have made any team better during that period.

He’s riding his NBA glory out for all it’s worth. I blame the Warriors organization, Kerr and Steph for always enabling and coddling his ass. This game the other night where they showed the highlights of Steph having to calm him down…like what?! Calming a grown ass man who should know how to behave better by now is inexcusable…..he was out there like he was the neighborhood pitbull off its leash yet again and the owner had to come out and get him.

Then tonight’s game triple single Dray not giving any help and wasting not only a Jimmy 30 pt game but also a Kuminga 20 pt performance!!! He oughta be ashamed at his own antics by now and yes he’s cost this organization and Steph directly a bunch of his NBA career legacy year after year after year.

:scust:guy single handily ruined their title repeat, followed that up with a season full of more antics punching people in balls and not being avaiable.......followed up by this.

nice game tonight bro. Steph out you did good tho fam. 6 fouls 2 points, while rudy who you talk shyt about played great

Draymond is the Israel of nba players, always the victim but no one will ever truly tell the full story of how horrible this guys been for this team. Yes hes a HOFer prolly yes hes super important to their run, but the last 3 years hes totally destroyed the team. dumbass corny azz dude

This board is incapable of having a genuine discussion about him.

It's almost like y'all forgot about how he was arguably their most impactful player in the Game 7 win against Houston, or how he led them in Game 1 to victory in this series. Or how he's been an integral part in the franchise winning four titles. He's exceeded all y'all expectations and proved all y'all wrong along the way, and yet y'all still are desperately trying to get some win with whatever this shyt is.

He can be criticized for acting up in games like this without y'all trying to rewrite history as if he's just some bum who's never won shyt.

At this point Aaron Gordon >>>>
I mean, AG is 29 and Draymond is 35, so I should hope that someone like AG, who was projected to be a much greater player coming into the league, and who's also in his prime, is a better player than him.

I don't even understand this thread, anyway, when GS haven't even been in a position to win another title after 2022.

Their three best players are 35-37, so nobody should've expected them to win shyt this season either.

We not doing this :mjlol:

He's on the All-defensive team this year, was top 3 in DPOY rankings

Previous two games he was balling for this team scoring buckets as well.

That's the tradeoff in dealing with his fukkery, had a rough game today that's all

had Steph not been hurt they woulda blown the Wolves out and this thread wouldn't be here
I'm saying though, where was all this energy after Game 7 against Houston, or after Game 1 of this series?

How many more times does Dray have to prove himself before threads like this cease to exist? The way this board talks about him is if he's some jouneyman, who's moved from team to team because he hasn't been able to contribute to winning. This is the same board that has this obsession with respecting the past, but they can't even go back as far as a week to respect the past.
