Saying black folk "need" it is mostly a marketing/diversity and inclusion tool imo (exception if you are using skin care products that increase sun sensitivity) but i do try to wear it, in theory it can slow down aging :ehh:

I use it in the beginning of summer of if I haven't been outside for a while. You should use it but I usually forget.

I got sunburnt for the first time in my life in Florida. Skin was peeling around my nose

Had me :patrice:

Where I'm from sun is always out and absolutely no one uses sunscreen

It might be possibly a good idea to I guess :ehh:

:lupe: What y’all use?

Cetaphil spf 15 had me looking like Mike in 88 :snoop:

My derm recommends spf 30 or higher. I alternate between Supergoop's unseen sunscreen or their glow stick. I like those because the don't leave a white cast on your skin. The unseen one mattifies while the stick gives you a glow

What's your skin type? If you don't know, after washing your face wait 5 minutes and look in the mirror. If it's normal, you have normal skin. If some parts are oily while others are normal, that's combination. If you're shining like a buttered biscuit, oily. If you look ashy, dry. You need to pick a sunscreen for your skin type.

I'm all in on skin care. I don't play about it lol

Same thing happened to me in Jamaica and I learned my lesson. It was on my upper body though. It was a mild discomfort but I don't want to feel it again
