Do y'all's parents try to make you remember family members you genuinely do not know?

My mom does that shiit all the time. Last year she randomly calls me to tell me my cousin Jeffery passed. I asked her, "Who is Jeffery?"



Me and my brother used to be cool about it and sometimes just play along. But my little sister gave no fukks.
I remember one time my dad tried to force us to meet our so called uncle and aunt. On the usual, "We knew you when you were in diapers." shiit.

My 9 year old sister blurted out, "You look ugly. I don't know you!"



I was on the floor dying laughing. Somehow I ended up getting in trouble.
