Do you actually save money on TWC bundles, or is that a lie?

They were trying to tell me that getting internet plus phone, would be cheaper for me than just getting internet alone. They even tried to show me prospective bills. Do y'all buy into this? I would got screwed by the extra tax on the phone, right? What do y'all think?

you save money....until the promotion is up (usually after a year)...then they bump up the monthly price for everything 30-40 bucks more...(which is how they make their money) but by that time you're locked into a contract for another year.
