Last November: "We don't want them to play in our household right now until they understand how physical and how demanding the game is. Then they can have their choice in high school, we'll talk over it," he said. "But right now there's no need for it. There's enough sports they can play. They play basketball, they play soccer, they play everything else but football and hockey.

"It's a safety thing. As a parent you protect your kids as much as possible. I don't think I'm the only one that's not allowing his kids to play football, it's just that I'm LeBron James and it gets put in the headlines for no reason."

"I needed a way out,'' he said. "My kids don't need a way out. They're all right. I needed a way out when I was a kid. I tried to do whatever it took to get out. That's my excuse."

LeBron: I don't let my kids play football

baseball gotta be the toughest sport to make it

to the major leagues yes, but you can get drafted and have a pretty good chance
Oh yea his statement is a perfect statement as to why football will never die.

pretty much- people know its a violent sport but will take that chance of making it big to hit that payday

Bron was recruited since 8th grade. He was driving an hummer to high school :heh:

Dude has had it laid out for him since he was 11. You know boosters were giving him cash and shyt too
And all of that money would've went away if he fukked up his knee and couldn't go pro in either sport. He wasn't rich.

He got that hummer off of a loan off his potential earnings, he wouldn't have been able to pay that back if he wasn't able to go pro.

He's got enough money where his kids don't have to do shyt he and his wife deem as dangerous.
