its hard to say...the nostalgia of old cage matches is still there even tho i bet if i watched some of those matches today they'd be boring and a bunch of simple body slams....


i will say that this was the best cage match i've seen in the modern "name a ppv after the match" era....anything in the post Hell In A Cell/Money In The Bank era....easily better and more entertaining than any match from that time.

When Fenix saved the match the crowd hit them with a standing O because they knew what was going down from there.

With a smart crowd like AEW has it’s very hard to get people to suspend disbelief so kudos to them.

I don’t know if it’s GOAT and I might prefer Bucks vs Omega/Hangman just for AEW tags but it’s a classic for sure.

After re-watching it 3 times, I don’t think it’s the GOAT cage match and there’s spots that could’ve been left off but it’s definitely up there.

Not the GOAT but it's definitely Top 10 now maybe if Alvarez said that the cage match was "GOAT Tag Team Cage Match" then he might would have a better argument for it.
