Do you agree with Meltzer that AEW has the second greatest tag division of all time?

LOL!

The only legit tag team they got is FTR. The rest of em don’t even observe tag team rules. They just “gotta get my shyt in!” spot monkey fest they way thru matches. It’s wild how FTR makes the rest of their teams look sloppy and amateur.

Great tag teams

not such a great division

They’ve just now started building real stories (FTR and B&B, FTR and Bucks) around the division.

they have fantastic teams, all mentioned, but the team with the title is two “stars” thrown together :mjlol:

TNA had a greattag division at one point, but AEW right now is the probably the best I can remember. They just need to be used a little bit more.

They just started giving Private Party and Butcher and Blade more time recently, which was a good move.

:ld:idk about this. It's a very, very uneven division and despite the Bucks being EVPs in the company, I don't think the tag division has been booked consistently at all. It's almost like there are two different divisions: The title division and the Bucks feud division, and half the teams on that list are lost in the shuffle of both.

Bucks, Page/Omega, Revival, Lucha Bros are top tier. I don't even count LAX anymore since they've been booked borderline comedy team since the Inner Circle took off, Sammy/Jericho lol, Butcher and Blade lol, SCU lol, Jurassic Express lol, Best Friends as a top tier team lol

It is a top tier tag division for crazy spot fests for sure. For substantive matches and storylines though...:ld:

All time no, it’s far too early to start throwing that around. They arguably have the best tag team talent right now. Let’s be honest, WWE hasn’t given two shyts about tag team wrestling in like a decade and a half.

Nah, get that shyt out of here. I know he loves that tiny white boy shyt in NJPW that came to AEW, but no. For a "historian", he sure forgets a lot. Tag team wrestling was way bigger in the 80s, and JCP/WCW and WWF had a ton of talent.
