Funny how yall cant remember that part but it's an excerpt from the very beginning of the book. It's in the intro. I never read the whole book though i had it since the first time it came out but I know for a fact that's on either the first or second page.

Maybe not on the audiobook I don't know.

This. And truth be told I feel like black people just aren’t as cutthroat as CACs are. Even when we should be focused on our survival we reach out and help people who wouldn’t bother to do the same for us, hungry or not.

Thought about that the other day. Hes right. A lot of these well off folks wouldnt be able to survive because mentally, they wouldnt be able to deal with living without luxuries or with the basic necessities or nothing.

Hate to say this but a lot of people are being humbled right now because of this shyt. Maybe this might be good in the long term for humanity. You see how strong someone really is when their lives are on the line or they really in some shyt.
