What did Steph do before he got Klay and Draymond? What did James Harden do in Houston before he got Dwight?

Kawhi ALWAYS had help foh

:camby:

When Klay Thompson and Draymond Green finally became all-star caliber players Steph won MVP and a ring. When AD got Jrue Holiday, an all-star, and Boogie, an all-NBA player, he missed the playoffs. Boogie got hurt last year, but before he got hurt AD didn't even look like the best player on his own team on most nights, and they were basically .500.:francis:

Is Dwight better than Jrue, Rondo and Boogie? Is LMA and Pau also better? Im just asking. Yes there's context but AD hasn't done shyt, and that's a fact.

If Pels retain Boogie and he still doesn't do shyt I shouldn't be seeing him in any top 3 lists. I barely even see a game where this nikka doesn't get "hurt".

the ether
1) LeBron
2) Steph
3) Kawhi
4) KD
5) AD

4 & 5 interchangeable
I'm glad someone else did this. Harden does not belong with those other five when he shyts the bed in the playoffs every. single. year.

1) LeBron
2) Durant
3) Anthony Davis
4) Kawhi
5) Steph

I really had to think about 3-4-5 though...I'd accept almost any combination depending on how well Kawhi comes back and how good AD looks when he gets into some real series.

nikkas still ain't learned great offense >>> great defense .

Curry impact & shot making >> anything Kawhi can do. Kawhi is great btw
There's still a valid argument because the gap between Kawhi and Curry on defense is so huge. Kawhi is glued onto the other team's best offensive player, while Curry is targeted by everyone.

On offense Curry is extraordinary, but Kawhi is still a great offensive player, light years above where Curry is defensively.

I do agree that great offense > great defense when you're talking perimeter defenders. When you're talking rim protectors, defense can be as big as offense. If I was trying to build a champion I'd take Gobert or Draymond above Towns or LaMarcus and not even think twice.

My nikka is the word context in your vocabulary or what because everything you said is missing it :dwillhuh:

The Pelicans didn't make the immediately playoffs after the Boogie trade because it always takes time to incorporate a superstar into an unfamiliar system, they were already 11 games under .500 because of injuries or absences in AD's supporting cast, Boogie's arrival hurt Jrue's game the most and Jrue wasn't able to adjust until December this past year... and there shouldn't be one person that actually watched the Pelicans this past season that ever thought that Boogie was the better player and I like Boogie :dwillhuh:

AD just SWEPT a 3rd seed without his running mate after averaging 30 (THIRTY) points per game after the ASB because for the first time since 2015 the rest of his squad could make up for the loss of a significant contributer... Jrue missed significant time every season until this one for either injuries or family health issues :dwillhuh:

Dwight and Harden in a perimeter oriented league are more capable of carrying a team especially compared to the AD/Jrue/Tyreke/Gordon/Anderson squads that were ALWAYS HURT and only played 37 games together ACROSS THREE YEARS :dwillhuh:

AD's played more games than Kawhi recently and the reason the Spurs don't fall apart when he's out is because they have the best coach ever and a bevy of players that have been in the system for years :dwillhuh:

I don't see how Kawhi is in anyones top 10. This is the LeBron effect at work.

1. Durant
2. Harden
3. Westbrook
4. LeBron
5. Steph.

I can't put Anthony Davis in the top 5 because his teams never win shyt.

Kawhi Leonards team made the playoffs with journeyman can't say he's great either.

there should be a thread on players we believe can get any team to the playoffs or competitive enough to fight for a position to be in the playoffs.

Bet most people’s list is filled with nothing but forwards

Maybe a handful of guards (and that’s being generous)

Did SAS do top 6 because he didn’t wanna snub curry and forced it to be 6?

Top 6 is such a odd number, do a top 5 or just do top 10
