The select kids that are running amok in Chicago did not come from homes where there was a father disciplining them for acting a fool.

They are from broken homes in turmoil with parents who couldn’t be on top of them for whatever reason so they were left to figure shyt out themselves. The beatings they did get most likely exceeded belts and were sparse with little context.

I do ( since it worked for me). My old neighborhood was Crip central and I hung out with them since we were zoned in the same school. I was asked to roll with them and all I thought about was that ass whopping from my mom and dad.
