not really depends where you are, but coles music always been more accessible to the public and casuals so it wouldnt be much of a surprise if thats the case

:jbhmm: I feel like the people fukked with gkmc more than any cole project. But if you're comparing their last two projects then you're probably right, even though I think tpab is way better than fhd, Cole's project was just way more accessible :yeshrug:

I'm not sure I agree with that. I will say there is a crazy amount of hate for Cole on The Coli, and that is not the case in real life. Almost everyone I know in real life fukks with Cole.

In alot of interview i heard rapper sayin j.cole is their favourite
Except in thr coli , cuz coli is full of fakkit

It is . The part that I'm not sure about is that the streets prefer Cole over Kendrick. Kendrick gets a lot of love on the streets too.
I'd agree with you 3 years ago that it's debatable, but how I see it now is what breh beneath me said

I really like Cole but his albums have low replay value for me and he uses "nikka" as a crutch in waaaaay too many of his bars...I also see more of my friends (I'm a chick, so women) connect with/listen to Kendrick more than cole

Both are kind of boring, to be honest. I think Kendricks is better overall, though.

Tried giving a cole a chance. His music puts me to sleep.

I fukk with both but J. Cole has yet to drop that album that is :banderas:.. he has dropped some good albums but nothing that made me feel like GKMC or TPAB. Closest thing was probably his mixtapes

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Nas is everybody's idol :blessed:

But yeah, he is 90% of Cole's DNA.
I wouldn't say that. When I listen to Cole's music especially earlier on in his career I could clearly hear his influences. Pac was a big one. And I heard alotta College Dropout Kanye in the beginning too. Especially on the production end. Yea but Nas was in there as well.

Cole is a lot simpler, not complex at all and less demanding. Therefore his fanbase consists of more kids, dumb thots, broads who really don't like advanced music (except Erykah) and people who aren't too smart.

Kendrick's latest album demands too much from the listener for it to appeal to :flabbynsick: street dudes with fried brain cells.
