Anytime I hear a black person say race is a social construct I think they are c00ns


In my sociology class my professor argued this by saying different races can have the same blood type. He aslo said the chinese classified themselves on hair color in the past

I argued to him back that race goes by phenotype and genotype and that human beings will always try to divide themselves because of tribalism but at its basic form there are only 3 pure races . Skin tone and hair texture combined make them with certain features not just one or the other or by itself

White people designated entire groupings of people into races, races they made up.
If you read about the history of racial classifications you find Jews and Native Americans were thrown into the "Black" category, at a point in time.
And that by classification Aborigines, Black Indians, and North Africans aren't "Black."
Whole thing is a social construct, White people masterminded this nonsense, and it's been the prevailing idea in our chatelhood and oppression

White people designated entire groupings of people into races, races they made up.
If you read about the history of racial classifications you find Jews and Native Americans were thrown into the "Black" category, at a point in time.
And that by classification Aborigines, Black Indians, and North Africans aren't "Black."
Whole thing is a social construct, White people masterminded this nonsense, and it's been the prevailing idea in our chatelhood and oppression

White threw almost anybody into the black race who wasnt white doesnt mean that race was ever a social construct

It's a modern pseudoscience created in 17th century to justify the things people wanted to do.

It's interesting that most people who insist on there being clearly defined races also think that their race is the best.

Ok.. there isn't a 100% correlation between genotype and phenotype it's something around 65%. Secondly, there is more genetic variation within a race as there is between races. E.g. 85% of genetic diversity of humans is in Africa.

IMO, yes and no. Most usages of racial categorisation are social constructs - e.g. Obama is Black. However, you can have categorise people biologically - creating some sort of racial groupings - but you'll be unable to do that using just physical appearances.

My argument

There are certain characteristics that only the 3 pure races have that are specific to them as a group

For Causacoid White or tanned complexion coupled with blue,light eyes and narrow noses and fine/curly hair this would be the majority

Negroid nappy hair broad nose , brown to dark skin complexion with brown eyes

Mongloid Asian Yellow pigment, Very fine dark hair slanted eyes

Now white people may have categorized certain non white races to be black to benefit them somehow but it is very real and not a construct.
