The truth is they’d love nothing more than for blacks to stop coming to the park. White families would love that.

So I am anti-boycott for that reason alone.

We need Ben Crump to file a class action and the park needs to pay AND we get a new attraction/area of the park that celebrates black children in some unique way. And that bytch better have comfy places to sit and those cooling water jets for the summer time.

I have empathy but I'm not sad, I'm mad.

That's the problem with a lot of us, in my opinion. We get sad when we should be angry. But anyway, I'll drop it. I wasn't trying to have a discussion about it.

I think it's more of a rage/outrage thing. Body reacts in weird ways sometimes. I've seen people cry during fights/out of anger and it wasn't from sadness, it was from actually being pushed to the point of enragement. Tryna go about your day or operate as you normally do, and mfs find a way to insert some bullshyt into your mix.

Plus parents have way more empathy naturally. Same person that seen on the news a baby got hit in a drive by shooting and just said "damn that's crazy," might feel more emotional about that situation after having a lil one of their own.

One of my patnas is like that. It's prolly not every little thing that happens, but things like that can catch anyone off guard.
