I just bought a 40+ inch HDTV (older model) from a cac in a nearby neighborhood. I paid a very small fraction of the value of the TV. No problems with the transaction. Looking back, I guess I was naive, but the dude was cool and it didn't take long to get the TV and bounce. I ended up having to replace the lamp (~$30) and the TV display is now like new. All together less than $100 for the TV (and part). Not bad for 40+ inch 1080i TV with HDMI. I'm a woman and I went alone during the day. Thinking back it could have gone left, but thank G-d, it was all good.

RIP to that young boy from Clark who got killed a few days ago. From looking at the comments on the CAU sites it looks like dude was really popular and we'll liked to. Looks like ol boy even was on the Deans List. It's fukked up a young nikka with a promising future had to go out like that before he even really found his purpose in life.
With that said nikkas really need to use their heads more. Not blaming the victim but he had no business meeting some random nikkas he didn't even know at night like that for a high scam item like an iPhone 6. He should've used better judgement.
And I'm over these AUC nikkas getting caught up in shyt that could have been usually avoided. nikkas go there to learn and become something but every year some Clark or Morehouse cat ends up killed behind some stupid and senseless shyt that wouldn't have happened honestly if they just stayed in they lane. Some Morehouse nikka from up north somewhere got killed on the street I grew up not even 3 houses down from mine a few years back. Dude was meeting someone to sell some work and while he was sitting in his car waiting he got murked and they left him in the car slumped over on the wheel. Those dudes had no right to kill that nikka but at the same time he had no business being at Morehouse trying to be a trap star. Stay in your lane bruhs....

ive bought a few cars, a ps2, a guitar, and a punching bag off craigslist. thankfully never had an issue
I used to buy/sell all the time. You can make good money snatching up deals.

I never ran into any trouble. You honestly just gotta use common sense. And funny thing is i've met people in deserted neighborhoods at 10-11pm. Usually cuz they're desperate to snatch up a deal. But never had even one problem. Never even had someone try to scam me.

All the time, am always looking for name brand tools. My pops buys cars from CL and flips them on EBay, gets better deals than auctions
