Hell no, in my 24 yrs ive never once called my parents or aunties/uncles by name.

sometimes I call my dad by his short name (Soco) when im joking around with him. But I always call my parents by Mom or Dad any other time.

No, that's disrespectful. Only time you should call your parents by their name is if they're step parents.

I'm actually learning it myself right now. My mother isn't fluent at all, she knows a bit here and there, and my father was African American so I never learned it or spoke it at home. It's very hard for me, I'm literally a beginner.

there is this brother that is suppose to be affiliate with the RastaFari Movement that put this book out. (like a amharic-english dictionary). shouldnt be hard imo once you you get pass the immersion technique.

I had an ex who was a Rastafari, he was fluent in Amharic but I still couldn't learn. That shyt is hard as hell. I have a beginner book that I got from an uncle which is helping so far. I'm better at one on one classes which does that language immersion technique (L2) which helped me when I was teaching abroad (it also helps with pronunciation).

Good looks. You should probably also follow that L2 (second language) language immersion technique, it helps you master pronunciation, and grammar/lexicon.
