I cant think of 3 non black comedians better than Bruce Bruce.

Eddie, Bernie, Dave, Chris Rock, Red Foxx, Damon Wayans,and Richard Pryor aside I can't think of anyone who I can say is clear cut better than Bruce without strong debate.

Patrice O Neal may be but I never got that deep into his work.

I generally like black comedians but I have to throw George Carlin in for sure and probably a few others.

eh. White Comedians usually are good at Comedic Writing for Comedic Actors but stand up usually gets a chuckle out of me. I watched George Carlin back in the day and he made me chuckle, but Black Comedians typically have you rolling. Could be that their comedy is more relatable though.

Hes funny if thats what you are asking a comedic legend is someone like Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Redd Foxx. Bruce is like a second or third tier comedian.

Black legend is all that would matter here,what else would we judge him by?What white people consider funny?.
But no I don't consider him a black legend either.
Probably a black comedy legend among black comics,but thats different from black people at large acknowledging him as a legend.
