I honestly wish I could show more empathy towards people or situations. But I just can't feel it. Is it something you're supposed to learn, or is strictly a feeling? In my case it's a feminine emotion.

This isn't really something that's drawn along gender-specific lines imo.
It comes down to tribalism.
You will be more empathetic to members of your own tribe than you would to others.
Tribe can be your family, friends, allegiance to a political faction, sports team, etc...
This is true for men and women equally.

I find it an emotion of a decent, non sociopathic, human being.
This

It gets downplayed for men because society prefers them to be sociopathic.

Feminine obviously..... Empathy is actually a weakness for men.

Black men are too empathetic and too moral - way more than other groups of men
Hard disagree.

It's a human emotion, a more feminine quality? yes.

The issue is people don't really understand polarity and how it goes beyond gender. We all have feminine/masculine qualities, ideally they are balanced but the world we live in makes that a task.

I honestly do not agree that men are less empathetic than women. I'm not sure how that conclusion was reached. Honestly, women do not need to understand us or be "good with men." That's why I find it to be an interesting statement.
