Lets settle this

I consider WTT, Yeezus, On The Run, Summer 16, Up in Smoke, to be arena tours where you are playing in a cities biggest indoor venue nightly( basketball arenas)

FHD, Pinkprint, Club Paradise, Snoop& Wiz 2016... I consider these to be the summer amphitheater tours where you are the top urban concert for all the midsize outdoor venues in the summer

Clearly people think I'm wrong. So what does the coli think?

2 things of note
1. I do think Coles next tour will be arenas
2. I don't consider Overseas because American acts don't have a hard time pulling crowds across the pond

But then again what if you're performing in arenas but only filling half the venue or less

I'm not sure what kind of shade you are trying to throw here, but for reference... when he came to Chicago, the venue he performed at holds a capacity of 28K people. I was there and it was packed to the MAX. The United Center only holds 20K people. So... if you're trying to say that Cole's last tour wasn't as big as the other guys you're naming because he wasn't always inside, you are TRIPPING.

This has happened to Rihanna earlier in her career when her label and handlers thought she was bigger than she was an clearly overreached

More than likely those shows are going to get canceled

No but it was a big, very successful tour. The tour included multiple amphitheaters with 20k seat capacity. The Comcast Theater he did has 30k capacity. For reference Madison Square Garden, which is an arena, has less than 19k capacity. Bridgestone Arena, which Drake/Future are doing, has 20k capacity. The Verizon Center has 18k capacity. So while Cole didn't do an "arena tour" if you compare the capacity numbers both tours are pretty damn similar, with Cole doing multiple theaters that are bigger than arenas.

It's easily the biggest tour you can do without doing all arenas.

I'm not throwing shade. I'm objecting to the Cole Zealots now proclaiming FHD to be an arena tour inn the same breathe claiming plat with no features is the greatest accomplishment in rap history

He also did Staples and MSG...

He did Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta

So how are you voting?

Yeah how many seats you're filling should be the barometer regardless of what kind of venue it is

Dude's songs suck so bad live. I mean even during Drake's live show, none of those songs really "connect"

FHD was a dope show

Props on the info

Everything about this album run turned out perfectly as @Abogado often says

Came out at the end of 2014 which was one of the worse years of mainstream rap releases and everyone was fiending for a great project

No Kanye, No Drake, No Jayz, No Rihanna , No Beyoncé album cycle and tour in 2015

Couldn't have worked out Better for the boy :jawalrus:
