Neck ties and boxing gloves.
Yeah I remember that..

Gym culture wasn't accessible back then
Nah.

Just not Planet fukking Fitness.

I forgot there wasnt any black people in shape in the 90s.

It was no wonder all those heavy weight boxers and linebackers in the 90s were all white.

Ive been working out for 24 years.

Go to the Y.

Have a rap label sell you fitness tapes for $19.99 with shipping and handling apiece so you can do Tae Bo in a crackhouse, breh.

And for a special limited time offer get a free VHS on how to do the heroin hang to strengthen that core, breh!

Planet Fitness/Blink/Crunch/etc were not in new york(at least)at that time...

The AVERAGE person was in the park/on the street doing calisthenics which made the Ruff Ryder workout regimen seem appealing....

That was my point.

Just because they werent available doesnt mean real gym options didnt exist.

Hell, if youre going to blow money on fitness tapes, buy weights.

Dont get exploited into buying bullshyt fitness tapes that just show you how to do dips on a bus stop bench sound tracked to an exclusive Drag-On freestyle over a leftover beat from Swizz.

Bruh..

The DVD was at best 20 cash and even less if you got it on bootleg...

No one said real gym options didnt exist..I said they weren't accessible to the average person in the hood which is part of the reason why the nyc Street/calisthenics culture is so popular...

Your clearly trolling, so I'm gonna go about my way..

Hell nah...

To be honest, I liked Vol 2 more than Vol 1.

I still have Twisted Heat and Stomp on repeat.

Unpopular Opinion but Vol 3 was actually decent.
