Tech N9ne isn't no sell out, it's just that hip-hop is buying into him, now.

"Tech isn't going Mainstream; Mainstream is going Tech!"

I'd say so far, that's an accurate way of describing things. And he's doing it all without a major label, you have to give him credit for that. Imagine if more new artists decided to go this route, instead of signing a 360.


Chance The Rapper is 100% independent, and he's on the verge of being mainstream right now. He's probably the closest one to. And he just dropped his FREE album today.
