I mean the forum is what the members represent right?
So with that said is the coli really hip hop can equate to are members hip hop?

1. Well I hardly ever see Mos Def threads.
2. The Ras Kass thread was only sticked days after I upped it and it is only 3 pages long.
3. So much hate on artists like Lupe Fiasco because he speaks him mind instead of talking about jewels and rims.
4. So much hate on Lupe because they listen to the wack beat than to the lyrics, but I do agree that beats is very important to hip hop.
5. Ya'll Hate on the lyrical gawd Papoose because of a few comedic punchlines and think that's the artist.
6. Ya'll talk about sales wayyy tooo much.....even if the artist is dope you laugh and say FLOP.
7. Rick Ross is popular on this website
8. Drake threads have yet to be confined to the Ladies Room section of the coli.
9. People consider Drake as a top 20...WTFFFFFFFFFFF
10. Where are the threads talking about how awesome pete rock cuts are?

Now I consider myself a pretty big "lyrics" and UG head but...

• Pap fell off a long time ago, breh. I'm in the minority that will say his disses to Uncle Murda and Fat Joe were dope and at one point in time... son was ILL. But in 2013? Son is ASS. Let's keep it 100.
• That's not why people dislike Lupe. It's his tone. He's condescending and raps "at you" these days. Doesn't seem to be having fun with it anymore. He's not as witty as he was in the Fahrenheit days either. EOTS doesn't compare. A lot of us consider F&L I & The Cool classics, F&L I Advance possibly being one of the best albums of the 2000s.
• Lasers had terrible beats to a lot of us. Like a lot of Em's albums don't have the best production, but they have digestable beats that "fit", allowing us to really get into the rhymes. Lasers though breh? FOTP breh?

I feel like I may have used "us" too much, but I've seen what I've said on a lot of boards and I share the sentiment.

The Coli is good for maintstream hip hop on some TMZ type shyt..but for underground its not, which is okay, cuz I rarely listen to that much underground these days or hip hop in general unless it's 90s..but yeah cosign these boarders on here not being hip hop heads..I doubt anyone on here has ever crushed a bus with a pilot fat tip or appreciates the art of turntabilsm or break dancing..I also can tell by that rap city basement freestyle post, cuz they were posting camron and other faggit rappers trying to freestyle..but oh well

But then again I haven't listened to the radio or watched tv in 10 years, so I find out a lot of stuff on here.

Drake, Kendrick, nicki, Ross, gucci, camron, that's all I can think of since I don't listen to mainstream..but yeah..all those actors would of got thrown off the stage, especially at the Latin quarters...and I like Kendrick too, but he would of got fukked up..

Nikka that just means ur time jus wanted a bunch of superthugs and didnt really care about the technique and actual musical aspects of rap.

So in essence u are discrediting your time and bigging up this generations mainstream by saying that rappers can now be themselves on tracks and the focus is more on the ability to make good music
