Do you consider what the Patriots did with Spygate as "cheating"?

So much dumb logic gets thrown around when this topic comes up. Patriots supporters claims there was no advantage and their detractors point to no SB wins since then as proof.

As much as I hate the Pats (Dolphins fan), I agree that this did not give them a big advantage. The post-spygate Pats were better than pre-spygate Pats. If not for the Tyree catch, the 07 team goes down as the greatest ever with no argument.

See it works both ways.. in the Carolina SB, if the dumbass Carolina kicker doesn't kick it out of bounds at the end of the game and give them the ball at the 40, the Pats don't get in field goal range to win with Vinatieri. Stealing hand signals didn't make him kick it out of bounds. Suddenly Spygate wouldn't be so seem powerful.

** What I wonder is why more people don't talk about those Denver Broncos teams of 97-98. Did you guys know that they paid a bigger fine to the NFL than the Patriots? These cats circumvented the rules on the salary cap for 3 years and were later caught. Now, if cooking the books to keep the NFL MVP and best RB in the league on your roster ain't cheating, I don't know what is :manny:

Taping hand signals and plays? Of course that's cheating. It gives them an unfair advantage over the rest of the fukking league.

Before Spygate, New England was 12-2 in the postseason and won three Super Bowl championships. After Spygate, the Patriots are just 5-5 with zero Super Bowl titles.
