In itself it is not a flaw...but at a certain level, it can be, which I'm on. I'm not becoming a fuçked up person over it, but that's also part of the flaw; you know what positions you better but can only do right.

Hell yeah but I’ve learned that you can’t extend empathy to everyone. Being empathetic to a predator is asking for your own death. Gotta know who to care about and who to ignore.

If you know you lack empathy, obviously don't expect it back in your own time of need..

Very. It's been an issue my entire life. Realized probably within the last 7 years ago I was emotionally abused. Also realized more recently that I have some emotional codependency that gets triggered with certain types of women (narcissists). It's not an easy burden for sure. I will say the depth of my anger from it scares me.
