To the point where I get negative phone calls about not attending family gatherings and church.

When family gets in bad situations and call me I show up but...
I'm Cool on em. Love em but they can be toxic at the worst possible times.

Should be wise enough to appreciate who IS at the family get together there instead of who isn't.
Don't feel like hearing about what I been through years ago when I'm growing now.

in the past i actually would go out of my way to talk to random people (in fact i still would but i have no time for pointless socializing now), but as i grew older i realized some people are just fukking a$$holes and will shyt on you for being different or not fitting their mold/ideal

Agree a lot. Sad thing is people who are loners like I am try to open up and end up having recurring bad experiences that cause them to shut down again. It becomes a never-ending circle. I know that for me part of it too are the unrealistic expectations I have about people and situations.

this also true for me, everytime i try to be nice or open i end up becoming more spiteful. like son how you gone dog me for trying to open up and be inviting

You developed this trait, most likely because you are socially awkard, so people rejected you. Over time,you just became very angry, depressed,and withdrawn.

I'm asocial to a degree because sometimes I just don't feel like being bothered. I'm only socially awkward around women I find attractive but I can talk to a ugly woman all day. I missed out on a lot of good experience because of that.

Other than that I like socializing with people with similar interests.

Depends if I'm in relatable company. Most likely am though because of my likes/dislikes and choices. Been at get togethers chillin dolo and had broads walk up on me like "h-hey, why arr you not talkin n stuff?" Then I pull them

Very. I've given up on ever connecting with people again since I'm clearly not made for it. I still care about having social skills because it helps with advancing in life, but I don't care about actually connecting with people at all anymore. It's difficult for me to even listen to people talk about themselves because I don't care about their lives or their problems. I can listen to people who I can relate to and who go through similar problems in life that I have, but that's it.

My personality causes me to shut down when it comes to socializing if my life is not going the way I want it to go. I get drained when I hear about people doing better than me or discussing how well their life is going. People don't have much use for me anymore.
