Uncertain grounds
Anti-social or asocial?

:usure:

Asocial refers to indifference to or a separation from society. An asocial person is able to socialize well if they choose to, but doesn't do so often simply out of lack of interest. It's common for introverts to be asocial.

Antisocial is asociality to the extreme and is related to mental and personality disorders. An antisocial person lacks empathy or regard for the concerns or safety of others, and may actually be hostile towards society.

u can add Avoidant to that list

i know its semantics but most ppl here thinking theyre anti-social is interpreting the phrase wrong from a clinical point of view..violent crime offenders and shyt are often anti-social. people who are apathetic or prefer solitude are more likely to be asocial or avoidant or a blend of the two

Well he was Korean American growing up with parents that had a language barrier . Picture that show on ABC, Fresh off the Boat ,except he was into heavy metal instead of Hip hop . His parents owned a barbecue restaurant Too. He had series of racist teachers, father that abused him physically because he couldn't communicate to them well for he didn't know Korean. Remember he would come over too much because he didn't want to go home.

He had battles with drugs along with getting in and out of jail constantly moving in order to stay out of trouble.

He's doing well living near St Louis now, married and finding religion

Coli.
Yes and no. I know how to comport myself when im out and about, but i prefer to not be out and about. My friends call me lame or boring but really their idea of fun is not mine. I think id be more social if i could find new people to do different stuff with. I dont know how these people only consider parties, bars, and clubs as social events. Muthafukkas never want to check out a play or go to the mueseum or a poetry reading or something . So i do things alone, but at least im happy and enjoy myself. Im pretty much a home body now tho. Ive learned to enjoy my own company and i love it.
Seems to me you need new friends with a different mentally :manny:..... I feel the same way my "so called friends" are to immature for me.
